Who are we?

Youth Group: 

The Youth group provides regular meetings and activities for those over 14 who have made a commitment to Christ and also show evidence of a commitment to the life of the church. The main weekly event is held on Saturday nights, but there is also a separate Chinese group meeting on a Friday evening. The Youth Group also make use of the church campsite at Ararimu several times a year, and participate in special youth-oriented services and other outreaches.












 

Children's clubs: 

There are four weekly clubs for children in which they learn practical skills and have activities and fun as well as learning Christian principles for living. Sunbeams cater for girls from 7-10 and Pathfinders from 10-16. Boys enjoy Trackers from 7-10 and Rangers from 11-16.

Children's Holiday Camps:

During the first term and third term school holidays, week-long camps are run for children from the church at our Campus in Ararimu. 
 

Music:

The church has a full music program and especially encourages the young to participate in instrumental groups. They participate regularly in church services and special outreach services.

Mainly Music:

This is a music-based activity session open to all pre-schoolers and their mothers on Tuesday mornings during term time. The focus is on friendship and support and a significant proportion of those attending have no church affiliation.
 

Realive:

Teams from the church and Youth Group hold beach missions at three popular holiday resorts over the Christmas holiday period. During the day there are childrens' activities and sports competitions, with a concert and supper for campers in the evening, with the opportunity to present the Gospel.
